Vinificazione
La vinificazione è spontanea in tini tronco-conici con macerazione sulle bucce di circa 20 giorni. L'affinamento avviene in botti di rovere da 10 hl per circa 18 mesi e in bottiglia per circa sei mesi.
Profumo
Al naso intensi profumi che ricordano la mora, il mirtillo, note speziate, la caramella inglese, e la resina di pino.
Gusto
In bocca è caldo e avvolgente, di corpo medio, fresco e salino, con un ottimo finale di frutta rossa.
Abbinamento ideale
Ottimo con i secondi saporiti di carne, da provare con formaggi stagionati e con delle braciole cotte nel sugo di pomodoro.

Verdugo is obtained from pure Merlot grapes that grow on volcanic soils. The grapes are harvested manually at the end of September. The vinification is spontaneous in truncated cone-shaped vats with maceration on the skins for about 20 days. The refinement takes place in 10 hl oak barrels for about 18 months and in the bottle for about six months. Verdugo has an intense ruby ​​red color. On the nose intense aromas that recall blackberry, blueberry, spicy notes, English caramel, and pine resin. In the mouth it is warm and enveloping, medium-bodied, fresh and saline, with an excellent red fruit finish.
