Corvinone
Corvinone is a black grape variety native to the Verona area and is used in a complementary and optional way (up to a maximum of 50% in place of Corvina ) in the blend of wines produced in the Valpolicella area, including the most famous Amarone della Valpolicella . In the past confused with the more famous Corvina , Corvinone has only recently obtained its independence, making the general term Corvine obsolete .
