Vitovska

Vitovska is a white grape variety widespread in the province of Trieste and in nearby Slovenia (in the territories that constituted the province of Trieste before the Second World War). Its name has Slovenian origins, presumably deriving from the locality of Vitolje.

From its grapes vinified in white a fresh dry wine is produced with a fruity, vinous aroma, with hints of William pear, sometimes even sage. The color is light straw yellow, the flavor slightly acidic and savoury, good body
