WINES FAR FROM APPROVAL, BUT FASCINATING FOR THEIR INTENSE AROMAS AND PERFUMES
The Fenocchios are a family from Monforte, winemakers for generations, but it was with Giacomo, in the Seventies, that the fantastic development of their wines began. The winery was founded in 1864, and today Claudio and Albino Fenocchio lead it in that extraordinary wine panorama that is Bussia di Monforte. The production philosophy that distinguishes this historic Piedmontese winery is that of tradition, made up of careful work in the vineyards and long vinifications with the use of large barrels in the cellar. The result is truly exceptional and astonishing: a fine wine, played on the elegance and delicate tones typical of the Nebbiolo variety. The cultivation in all the vineyards is based on the principles of sustainability aimed at increasingly reducing the environmental impact. All this has led Claudio to vinify with a sure hand, without consultancy, in a traditional way and reducing interventions in the cellar to a minimum, obtaining as a result sincere wines, respectful of the terroir and the vintage; wines far from standardization, but incredibly fascinating for their intense aromas and perfumes: in a word, unique.
