Frascole is located in Dicomano, in the province of Florence in the heart of Tuscany, where the Mugello valley ends and the Valdisieve begins, at the confluence of the Comano and Sieve rivers, in a place full of greenery and calm, on a hill about 400 meters above sea level. Frascole has been family-run since 1992 by the Lippi and Santoni families, who own 15 hectares of vineyards and olive groves, entirely organic for both wines and oil since 1999, worked with the utmost attention and natural preservation of the place. The Chianti Rufina valley stands out for its characteristics and freshness where the vineyards are planted on hills with soils that have arenaceous, calcareous and marly substrates, with the presence of sand and pebbles. The grapes grown are mainly red berries with Sangiovese in first place, followed by Cannaiolo and Colorino, Merlot, and the white berry grapes which in the past were a source of pride and personal consumption with Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia Bianca.
