Blonde Jeo
Located in the heart of the Asolo Hills, in Monfumo in the province of Treviso, Biondo Jeo is a small family-run farm that represents the most authentic and artisanal soul of Venetian wine. Founded by Cristian De Lucchi in the late 1990s, it was born from the desire to revive the family's farming tradition and to enhance the indigenous grape varieties of the area.
The name "Biondo Jeo" embodies a deep connection to its roots: "Biondo" was the nickname of his father Lorenzo, while "Jeo" was that of his great-great-grandfather Giosuè. Today, the winery has about six hectares of vineyards and an average production of 30,000 bottles per year, all the result of meticulous manual work and a production philosophy based on respect for the land.
The clayey and marl-rich soils of the Asolo Hills give Biondo Jeo wines a strong territorial identity, characterized by freshness, minerality, and aromatic depth. In the vineyard, sustainable and natural practices are adopted, with treatments reduced to a minimum and great attention to the balance of the ecosystem.
In the cellar, Cristian works with spontaneous fermentations, no filtration, and minimal use of sulfur dioxide, to allow the wine maximum expressive freedom. Among the most representative labels are "Biondino", refermented in the bottle based on Glera, and "Biondo del Biondo", a surprising interpretation of macerated Bianchetta Trevigiana.
Today, Biondo Jeo is considered one of the most interesting artisanal wineries in the Treviso area, capable of authentically narrating the territory of the Asolo Hills through pure, lively, and sincere wines.
