“I chose to be a winemaker. A choice that radically changed my life.” This is how Gianluca Sinigaglia begins when he talks about his Scelta di Vite. Gianluca started from scratch and had to build everything with his own hands: he found his little piece of vine on the Euganean Hills, then the cellar. At this point, that shapeless mass that was just a dream in his head took shape, becoming reality. Here the old vines are grown on the hills, kissed by the sun and caressed by the wind. The agronomic choice fell on minimal intervention, suggested by the vines themselves: he realized that they are self-sufficient and only need a little attention. Just like the vines in the vineyard, like the grapes in the cellar.
