Flat Coast House
Casa Coste Piane is a small wine estate located in Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene, in the heart of the historic Prosecco Superiore DOCG hills. The Follador family cultivates approximately 6 hectares of vineyards situated on steep slopes between 250 and 400 meters above sea level, in an area characterized by morainic and calcareous soils that give the wines freshness, verticality, and a vibrant mineral imprint.
The winery was born from a clear vision: to produce authentic wines that faithfully reflect the territory without resorting to invasive interventions either in the vineyard or in the cellar. Agricultural practices follow the principles of organic farming, with manual labor, exclusion of herbicides, and minimal use of treatments, prioritizing copper and sulfur. Attention to biodiversity, soil vitality, and respect for natural cycles is reflected in every bottle.
The winery's emblematic wine is the "Frizzante... naturalmente" Prosecco, produced using the ancestral method, without filtration or pasteurization. Refermentation occurs in the bottle with natural yeasts, without the addition of sugars or selected yeasts. The result is a cloudy, savory wine with sediment, deeply linked to the rural identity of Valdobbiadene, with notes of white flowers, citrus peel, wild herbs, and yeast.
Casa Coste Piane represents an artisanal approach to winemaking in Conegliano-Valdobbiadene, far from industrial logic and faithful to an agricultural tradition built on patience, attentiveness, and precision. Its long-lived and dynamic wines bear witness to a unique hilly landscape, entirely hand-worked, where each bottle tells the voice of the land with sincerity and elegance.
