Dora and Patrizia are two forces of Nature, with a magnetic and strong character that captures you as soon as you greet them; Sanguineto is Dora, she is the hand of the cellar and Patrizia is the mind. The Sanguineto I and II estates are located in Tuscany, between Valdichiara and Val d'Orcia, in Acquaviva, and extend for 35 hectares, at 330 meters but only 5.5 hectares are planted with vines with varieties such as Prugnolo Gentile (biotype of Sangiovese) Canaiolo nero, Mammolo and Colorino. The company was founded by Dora's father, Federico Forsoni, who mainly raised livestock, while the wine was made for personal use, but then over the years the challenge and the opportunity given by a fortunate place like the lands of Montepulciano, gave way to the creation of imposing and characterful wines. From cultivation to treatment of the land, respecting nature and its rhythms, no insecticide or pesticide treatments.
