The Bera family has been growing grapes in the Asti hills in Canelli since 1758. It is those lean and bitter hills, but strongly suited to wine production, that convinced the ancestor Giovanni Battista to buy them.
In 1964 the conversion to organic farming took place, a choice that has been tenaciously carried forward to this day by the children Vittorio, Gianluigi and Alessandra as a true philosophy of life. Today the company manages in a strictly family way ten hectares of property in Canelli, in the Serramasio area, in the heart of the most classic and ancient production area of Moscato d'Asti.
Similarly, in the cellar, we work by reducing intervention to a minimum, to obtain a wine that is the maximum expression of the territory. In this way, wines are obtained without the use of selected yeasts, enzymes, chemical-physical treatments of various kinds, concentrations and so on. The flagship of the company is the Moscato d'Asti, with a powerful and sunny but elegant structure, to which are added small but qualified productions of the most classic and traditional wines of the "homeland of Asti"
