Friulano is a white grape variety, widely cultivated in Friuli Venezia Giulia . Until 2007 it was called Tocai .

Woody, dark-coloured shoot with small, flattened buds - medium-large, orbicular, three- or five-lobed leaf, closed petiolar sinus and glabrous lower surface - medium-sized, truncated-pyramidal, winged and medium-compact bunch - rounded berry (sometimes slightly ovoid) with 1-2 medium-sized pips and green-yellow pruinose skin.

Ripening is medium-early, vigor is very good.
