Held by the hours

The vineyard has been maintained in its original habitat surrounded by woods and meadows. In these hills we grow native vines such as Durella and Garganega and typical vines such as Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir and Riesling Renano, according to a strict protocol called Regola della Valle d'Agno, in which the ancient principles of local agriculture have been recovered. The winemaking follows the same path: the least possible intervention. From the vine to the wine we produce our wines within the property. From the fruit to the bottle we allow the typicality of the terroir to express itself, to preserve the richness that the soil of our vineyard has provided to the fruit.

Biodynamic agriculture is based on a way of thinking and acting that respects at the same time the sensible world and the supersensible and cosmic reality that acts in it; The objectives that are pursued are:

  • substance cycles as closed as possible
  • the renunciation of the use of synthetic chemical substances
  • the cultivation of plants suited to the location
  • the conservation and increase of soil fertility through organic fertilization
  • the intensification of natural regulatory processes
  • the renunciation of extreme specialization (for ethical and ecological reasons)
  • a holistic vision
