The idea of ​​creating Vini Scirto was born from Giuseppe and Valeria's passion for the vineyard and wine. It is a young Sicilian company of 2.5 hectares that has learned from past generations the love and desire for this work. The company has always dealt with agricultural production and specifically wine and olive oil but in 2009, Giuseppe decided to take control of the situation and did so together with Valeria, thus the Vini Scirto company was born. Located in Passopisciaro, a hamlet of Castiglione di Sicilia, on the slopes of Etna, a territory famous throughout the world for its excellent wines. The most present variety is Nerello Mascalese, an indigenous vine, and other varieties such as Nerello Cappuccio, Carricante, Grecanico and Minnella. Respect for the land is really important for Giuseppe and Valeria, who work both the vines and then the wine in the cellar by themselves, without any help from figures such as oenologists or agronomists, but in continuous investigation and study to always improve their products.
