Francesco Martinelli was born in 1874, the third of four brothers, to parents who owned land in Colognola ai Colli, Verona. Upon his death, Gaetano (1842-1901) left his inheritance to divide the family: Francesco inherited the properties “in the city” (Piazza Arditi and Via Daniele Manin in Verona), while the lands and the family villa went to his younger brother Pio.
In 1941 Francesco's son, Giovanni (1921), an aviator, returns safe from the Russian campaign. After the war he tries to reconnect with his uncle Pio's family, but he has already squandered his grandfather's assets and so Giovanni is forced to give up the idea of returning to his homeland.
Dario (1953), Giovanni's firstborn, inherits the passion for men, adventures and the land. After completing his studies in Biological Sciences at the University of Padua, he chooses the path of the spirit that brings him closer to yoga. As the culmination of this research path, in 1955 Dario has the opportunity to purchase a property. Among the many he visits in that period, there is one with a vineyard on the hills of Soave with an attached rustic building that seems like the right place to practice his disciplines. Listening to his ancient call and guided by fate, he ends up purchasing that very property with a Garganega vineyard, the rustic building and a small wood, on a slope that faces east of the volcanic hill of Fittà, in the Classic area of Soave.
A magical place where you can reconnect with nature and rebalance yourself through yoga, contemplation, sharing, peace.
Francesco Martinelli (1978), Dario's firstborn, inherited the passion for nature, art, poetry, music, and all the enlightened paths of men.
He travels, loves being with people and learns the art of catering as a convivial moment, of human exchange and with it he learns the culture of good food and good wine.
