IT IS THE VINEYARD THAT HAS SHAPED ME AND NOT VICE VERSA

Olek founded his farm in 2005 in Cascina La Berchialla, which has been owned by his family for over two hundred years in Barbaresco. Before returning home and making the fruits of his land yield, he successfully mastered snowboarding. Upon returning home, he felt ready to leave his own mark on the art of making wine, with his wealth of studies and experiences abroad, but with the awareness and strength of the peasant tradition of Langa. From the very beginning, he avoided the use of pesticides in the vineyard, selected the grapes in the summer to keep yields low, vinified without the aid of selected yeasts but only with a little sulfur, no filtration at bottling: he obtained precise and round wines, without flaws but bloody and sometimes austere.
