Domaine de Mandelot

Domaine de Mandelot is one of the most exciting new developments in the Hautes Côtes de Beaune, the result of François Grangé's courage and vision. After years of experience as vineyard manager at the prestigious Domaine Chandon de Briailles in Savigny-lès-Beaune, where he introduced biodynamic practices and natural infusions instead of chemical treatments, François decided to embark on a more personal path, seeking freedom and autonomy.

The opportunity arose with the chance to take over the vineyards of Château de Mandelot: an enchanting, hilly, and still deeply rural landscape, where nature dictates the rhythms and time seems to flow more slowly. The project quickly took shape, with intensive work in the cellar and vineyard — some of which are even worked by horse — to create a place where precision and enthusiasm merge in the production of authentic wines.

Winemaking occurs without any additives, following a rigorous yet respectful approach to the raw material. The results are evident in the glass: lively, profound, airy wines, yet deeply rooted in the land from which they come. The Pinot Noirs, in particular, surprise with their balance and vitality, fully representing the character of a terroir that is still largely unexplored but rich in potential.
