From Timorasso grapes grown on light and dark clay soil, Derthona is a long-lived white wine – even over 10 years – that presents itself in the glass with an intense golden yellow. In the first years in the bottle, the fruity aromas of peach and floral aromas of acacia flowers and hawthorn are perceived, as well as notes of cotton candy and acacia. The hint of honey also emerges significantly. In youth, the notes of hydrocarbon and mineral are less noticeable, emerging more defined and intense after three/four years of aging in the bottle.
