Ser'Enzo
Ser'Enzo is located in the heart of Tuscany, in the municipality of Montalcino, in the hamlet of Lucignano d’Asso, a strategic area between the Crete Senesi and Val d’Orcia, at the foot of Mount Amiata. A unique territory where wooded landscapes alternate with cereals, olive groves, and vineyards, in an authentic and sustainable agricultural balance.
The project stems from Leonardo Seragnoli's vision and is based on a mixed agricultural model: approximately 15 hectares of vineyards coexist with ancient grain crops, legumes, and olive trees. The vineyards, planted between 1994 and 2021 and Guyot-trained, are located on well-structured sandy-loam soils, typical of the Montalcino area. These important soils are capable of imparting structure, depth, and great aging potential to the wines.
Agronomic management is extremely precise: careful cultivation to ensure a balance between light and water, reduction of soil compaction, and targeted use of organic soil improvers. Each plot is monitored through detailed mapping of the plant's vegetative response, allowing for precise interventions in pruning and nutrition.
Today, Ser’Enzo represents one of the most interesting realities in Montalcino for those seeking territorial, long-lived wines deeply connected to the Tuscan landscape, with a conscious agricultural approach that respects the identity of the soil.
