Only in a healthy environment can healthy products be produced. Rudolf Niedermayr, Thomas' father, has always been convinced of this. Creating high-quality agriculture in harmony with nature: this has always been his pioneering vision. With great passion, he succeeded in putting this idea into practice in a way that we could almost call revolutionary: already in the mid-eighties, his thinking also gained traction in viticulture, which therefore became organic. However, the stakes were higher: it was a question of creating a complete production cycle with organic horticulture, fruit growing, livestock farming and, above all, viticulture. It was about biodiversity and sustainable economic cycles, which the entire family shared. From 1991 onwards, the Hof Gandberg estate became a member of the Bioland association and from 1993 onwards the estate also integrated pressing. From then on, it was possible to accompany the wine throughout its entire development, from the grape to the bottle. This concluded the production cycle. A production cycle that followed that of nature. In 2010, his son Thomas began to take his first steps in the company and in 2012 he took over its management. His firm intention was to give free rein to nature even in the cellar.
