OUR FAMILY HISTORY ONCE AGAIN WRITTEN AMONG THE GRAPE CLUSTERS AND HILLTOPS

Geschickt is a family of winemakers from Ammerschwihr, in the heart of Alsace, now led by the third and fourth generations: Frédéric, his nephew Arnaud, and Arnaud's partner, Aurélie.

Since 1998, they have undertaken the conversion of their 12 hectares, first to organic, then to biodynamic, achieving certification and embracing viticulture that respects natural rhythms. The culmination of this journey arrived with the 2014 vintage, when they were able to produce their entire range of natural wines: unfiltered, with no added sulfites, the result of years of experimentation that began in the vineyard and ended in the cellar.

The winery's philosophy is based on a clear principle: always complete all fermentations, including malolactic. The result is dry, direct wines, with natural and uncontrolled acidity, from mature grapes full of personality. An interpretation of Alsace and its grape varieties that is far from trends, faithful to the territory and its identity.

The Grand Cru Kaefferkopf, Ammerschwihr's most prestigious cru, is the estate's realm: here, the calcareous soil expresses its best through the Riesling and Gewurztraminer vineyards, the two Alsatian sovereigns. The range also includes excellent Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, and the classic Crémant d'Alsace, made from Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay.
