Langhe Riesling DOC 2023 Agnelli Viassone
Agnelli Viassone's Langhe Riesling is a brave and deliberately unconventional choice: Daniele planted these vines in 2021, intentionally choosing Rhine Riesling in a land famous for its red wines, also to preserve the woodland adjacent to the vineyard, a crucial habitat for the bees raised on the farm. A wine born from a precise vision, not from a trend.
With a north-east exposure on calcareous marl soils, Agnelli Viassone's Riesling is a fresh, savory white wine with great character: taut, mineral, capable of surprising from the very first vintage and promising even more with a few years of bottle aging.

Cryomaceration in the press with whole clusters for 5 hours, followed by soft pressing. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts for about 20 days in stainless steel tanks. Aging on fine lees in stainless steel for 4 months. |

Delicate and precise nose: citrus, white peach and wildflowers, with a stony, mineral note typical of Riesling Renano already hinted at in this first young vintage. |
