The Le Roche farm is a production company located on the San Luigi hill overlooking Dogliani in the heart of one of the most fascinating areas of Italy: the Langhe. In 1993, precisely during the spring, Ursula and her husband Marcello Reichmuth were struck by the beauty of the territory and decided to "put down roots" by building their home here, but above all, what is now their cellar. These two people, in addition to being linked by a great love, are also linked by a passion for viticulture, he is an HTL engineer in oenology and she is a qualified farmer. The types of vines grown are countless and extend over 7 hectares of vineyards on silty soils with a fair percentage of clay and sand, decidedly calcareous that enjoy excellent exposure and a perfect climate. The Reichmuths in the cellar and in the vineyard try to follow the rhythms and suggestions of nature, their philosophy is in fact based on biological principles and on the integration of traditional and modern methods in order to enhance the best characteristics of each vintage and single bottle. Nature is therefore an inspiration and a working companion, the vineyards have been converted to an evergreen structure and on the estate there is a great variety of plants and fruit trees that provide nourishment to all organisms. Reichmuth wines are reminiscent of those of the past: frank, sincere, without half measures. In them we can taste the love, passion and hard work of two people who have decided to dedicate their lives to the land. Marcello, as previously underlined, decides to respect the times of nature and to put his labels on the market only when they have developed the right character and only when he deems them ready. The names are very characteristic, they are in fact words in Piedmontese dialect, fruit of the imagination of two people of Swiss origin who have chosen Piedmont as their nest.
