This micro maison in Neuville sur Seine is run by Clément Piconnet, who trained at the Changins school of viticulture and oenology in Switzerland, then gained work experience in Champagne, Burgundy and Australia and is now supported by his wife Agathe. The estate owns 8 hectares of vineyards but a good part of the grapes and wines are sold to other producers. With the best grapes, in the small cellar designed by his sister, in a magical mix of materials and natural light, Clément produces sincere and characterful champagnes. Each individual wine is an example of harmony and elegance, combined with ease of drinking in the Blanc de Noirs and great complexity in the 3 Cépages. His parcellaires (runs of 500 to 1,000 bottles) are clear photographs of each individual plot.
