100% grapes and nothing else, no other words would be needed to explain the wines of Marco Giuliani and Davide Gentile except that the name of the Lammidia Company is so intriguing that it needs to be told. Abruzzo is already in the name - the tradition is there, La 'mmidia in the Abruzzese dialect is the equivalent of bad luck or the evil eye caused by someone's invectives. The history of the Villa Celiera company begins with an Abruzzese grandmother who - since the spontaneous fermentation of the first winemaking ever, in 2010, was struggling to start - removes the evil eye from the two boys who wanted to give life to their dream. But the departure from tradition is also there. Marco and Davide's path is typical of outsiders, the two have known each other all their lives, they embark on two promising careers until they get carried away by the bubbling of wines, participating in natural wine fairs and pigeonholing, one after the other, pilgrimage-trips as nonconformist winemakers, especially foreign ones. The prerequisites for a significant project are all there, the land at 700 m above sea level inside the Gran Sasso National Park where the cellar is set up - recovered from a garage of Davide's grandfather and personally renovated by the two with a unique project.
