Régis Poissinet is a family Maison founded in 1947, which runs a small domaine in Cuchery, in the beautiful Vallée de la Marne area west of the Montagne de Reims. For over half a century, it has been producing artisanal Champagnes of excellent quality, the fruit of passion, meticulous care and great savoir-faire. Bottles that are always highly sought after by enthusiasts, who love labels capable of expressing the authentic character of a single terroir. The property extends over a total of seven hectares, divided into 35 parcels, located in the municipalities of Cuchery, Baslieux, Leuvrigny, Troissy and Mareuil le Port. The vines have an average age of about 30 years and are cultivated, according to the tradition and vocation of the area, mainly with Meunier, Chardonnay and a small percentage of Pinot Noir. The estate is managed with full respect for the environment, with the aim of creating a balanced ecosystem, so that the plants can express themselves without forcing and produce grapes of excellent quality. In the countryside, no herbicides are used and the land is worked to encourage spontaneous vitality and natural biodiversity, with the presence of a rich wild fauna and flora. Respect for nature and a constant commitment to obtaining healthy and genuine grapes are the basis of a philosophy based on the pursuit of quality without compromise. A natural approach, which starts from respectful viticulture to arrive at manual harvests with careful selection of the bunches, before proceeding to the vinification. Each parcel is fermented separately, so as to have a wide choice of vins clairs available when creating the cuvées. Only after careful tastings are the batches chosen that will then make up the final blends. The Champagne Regis Poissinet offer the emotion of savoring the character of a great terroir, interpreted by the Maison with a refined and elegant style.
