Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCG 2020 Frascole
Chianti Rufina Riserva is made from Sangiovese (95%) and Colorino (5%), from vines of varying ages, from the oldest planted in 1967 to the youngest from 2001. This wine comes from a careful search for full ripeness of the grapes, a key principle that often requires multiple passes during harvest.
The result is a powerful and deep red, with a dark and fascinating character, like an opulent rose with fleshy petals. On the nose, it releases intense spices reminiscent of cloves and pepper, while on the palate it is enveloping and velvety, with an intense and very elegant finish. A wine designed for evenings to remember, to be decanted in a decanter to fully appreciate its complexity and depth.
