Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG Riserva 2021 Poderi Sanguineto
Composed of 80% Sangiovese, locally called Prugnolo Gentile, and the remaining 20% Canaiolo and Mammolo, this wine comes from vineyards of varying ages, from the oldest planted in 1967 to the youngest from 2017, on medium-textured soils of Pliocene origin.
Fermentation occurs spontaneously, with indigenous yeasts, in cement tanks for about 10 days, with cap submersion. Aging then continues in large oak and Allier barrels of various sizes for at least 36 months, allowing the wine to acquire depth and balance.
Visually, it presents with an intense and luminous red color. The olfactory profile is delicate and velvety, yet dynamic, with floral notes of violet, fine spices, and a slight bitter nuance of licorice that, on the palate, increases its complexity and charm.
