Savigny Les Beaune Premier Cru Les Lavières 2020 Château de Béru
The Savigny-lès-Beaune Premier Cru "Les Lavières" is one of the most fascinating creations of Château de Béru, a historic Chablis estate that in this case ventures into the heart of the Côte de Beaune to interpret Pinot Noir with the same elegance and sensitivity that characterize its white wines. The wine is made from a vineyard obtained from a mass selection in 1954, whose grapes come from a trusted friend and producer, Domaine Chandon de Briailles, located in Savigny-lès-Beaune, with a south/south-east exposure. The clay-limestone soils, interspersed with lava pits, give the wine depth, structure, and a unique mineral tension. A Premier Cru of great character, where ripeness and freshness coexist in perfect harmony, offering an intense and poetic interpretation of Burgundian Pinot Noir.
