Saint-Romain Blanc 2018 Sarnin-Berrux
Sarnin-Berrux's Saint-Romain Blanc is a Chardonnay from the fresh, mineral-rich slopes of this historic Côte de Beaune appellation (from the La Perriere and Combe Bazin climats). The organically grown, hand-harvested grapes are spontaneously fermented and vinified without fining or filtration, with aging in neutral wood to preserve the integrity of the fruit and the character of the terroir. A warm but balanced vintage, yielding an enveloping yet taut white wine, with a minerality that is a hallmark of Saint-Romain.
