Red Massa Vecchia
Rosso di Massa Vecchia is the most immediate and authentic expression of Fabrizio Niccolaini's project, a historic winemaker from the upper Tuscan Maremma. This wine is born from vines cultivated at the foot of the Colline Metallifere, in a vibrant and complex agricultural context, where wine is just one of many forms of expression of the land. Rosso di Massa Vecchia is a free wine, made from Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, and Merlot, that does not seek geometric balance but truth. It changes slightly from vintage to vintage, because it follows nature and not a pre-established model. It is an unpretentious, agricultural, deeply territorial red that tells the story of the most authentic Maremma.
