Rosso di Valtellina DOC 2024 Le Strie
Le Strie's Rosso di Valtellina DOC comes from the terraced vineyards of Teglio, the historical heart of Valgella, at about 450 meters above sea level. Le Strie is a small family business founded by two couples of friends, none of whom are from Valtellina, who since 2002 have been producing artisanal wines from about 2 hectares of Chiavennasca cultivated with low yields and without herbicides. Rosso di Valtellina is the most direct wine in the range: it does not seek concentration or power, but accurately reflects the character of this heroic viticulture, where every vineyard action is dictated by the slope and the manual labor involved with the dry stone walls.
