Mariarosa Colli Trevigiani IGT 2024 Ca' dei Zago
The Mariarosa comes from a small half-hectare vineyard in Saccol di Valdobbiadene, at the foot of Col Croset, where the medieval remains of the Bastia di Mondeserto still stand. Here, between woods and rocks, the rows of Perera, Bianchetta, Verdiso, and Glera grow on calcareous soils resting on the Glauconite of Belluno and the Calcarenite of Castelcucco, which give the wine a natural mineral tension. Ca’ dei Zago's philosophy remains unchanged: spontaneous fermentations, no fining or filtration, re-fermentation in the bottle without disgorgement.

Spontaneous fermentation in concrete tanks with indigenous yeasts. Winter rest with natural stabilization. Spontaneous refermentation in bottle (ancestral method, sur lie) in spring. No disgorgement, no filtration. |
Profumo |
Delicate aromas of white flowers, citrus, wild herbs, and quince, with a mineral and balsamic undertone that slowly emerges. |
Gusto |
In the mouth it is tense and savory, with a fine and natural effervescence. Fresh, dry, and mineral, it finishes with citrus and slightly almond notes, in impeccable balance. |
Abbinamento |
Excellent with aperitifs, or with warm fish appetisers, fresh cheeses, and white fish pasta. Also great with sushi. |
