De Fermo's Launegild is a pure Chardonnay produced on the land that presents itself in all its atypicality, dynamism and mineral soul, which therefore proposes itself as one of the most appreciated Italian expressions of the famous French grape variety. It is a well-balanced and composed wine and, at the same time, so dynamic that it amazes us, produced from espalier-trained vines on clayey calcareous soils and located between the Adriatic and the Gran Sasso. In this context, the creamy soul of Chardonnay blends wonderfully with the savory component brought by the terroir.

Partial whole bunch pressing, partial destemming. Soft pressing with a vertical press. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in large oak barrels, without temperature control. Aging for about 12 months on fine lees in the same barrels.

Dry, medium-bodied, on the palate, one particularly appreciates the excellent balance between freshness and softness, as well as the savory component.
