Emilien Bordeaux Côtes de Francs 2022 Château le Puy
Château le Puy's Emilien is the flagship wine of one of Bordeaux's most extraordinary estates: biodynamic vineyards at the highest point of the Gironde, on clay, flint, and limestone soils, cultivated without synthetic treatments for generations by the Amoreau family. The vines are approximately 50 years old and harvested strictly by hand.
It is an austere and vibrant Bordeaux, capable of combining structure and freshness with disarming naturalness. Juicy fruit, velvety tannins, and a minerality that runs through the sip from start to finish: a wine of great complexity and equal drinkability, that ages gracefully without ever losing its identity.

Profumo |
Complex and layered nose: cherry, blackberry, ripe plum and a characteristic toasted almond note. This is followed by hints of undergrowth, sweet spices and a finely iron-like minerality. |
Gusto |
Full and enveloping sip, with perfectly integrated silky tannins and an acidic freshness that provides tension and length. Very long, savory, and persistent finish, with returns of red fruit and damp earth. |
Abbinamento |
It pairs well with second courses based on meat, and in particular, it should be served with roasted lamb. |
