Chambolle Musigny 2023 La Maison Romane
A wine with a very ancient appellation dating back to the 1100s, etymologically meaning “fertile land near a watercourse,” it is a selection of pure Pinot Noir. It is a fascinating wine, at times seductive and generous in its aromas and taste, an interpretation by Oronce that is fully vibrant and wonderful. This wine is the result of a double selection made first in the vineyard and then in the cellar, and aged in old oak barrels. Fine structure, good acidity, and a multifaceted nose that plays with hints of fruit, small red berries, rosebud, almond paste, and hazelnut ice cream, with a satisfying mineral sensation.
