“One evening in the winter of 1997, while sitting in front of the fireplace I was drinking – savoring every sip – an old Champagne blanc de noirs purchased in France during one of my many wine pilgrimages, I decided to honor that wonderful grape called Pinot Noir, and I also wanted to create important and complex bubbles, that did not stop at the mouth but that reached the brain first, and from there, straight to the heart. And it is precisely from that evening that I decided to dedicate a part of the house on the hills of Vicenza to the cellar in order to work on wines that would find their place in the collections of enthusiasts. Obviously, red winemaking could not be missing, which led me to seek my own interpretation, respectful of our terroir and my personality, year after year, harvest after harvest” Marco Buvoli
