Maison Jean Dumangin passionately cultivates all the qualities of the Champagne terroirs. The family-run company is located in Chigny-les-Roses, a historic Premier Cru town nestled on the slopes of the Montagne de Reims.
Jean Dumangin champagne has very ancient roots. The current family represents the eleventh generation. The family continues to invest in improving and modernizing its work tools. The constant improvement of the quality of the range involves, first and foremost, paying particular attention to the protection of the vine and respect for the environment. Jean Dumangin works his vineyard by reducing the use of plant protection products as much as possible and pays great attention to the cultivation of the soil. Particular care is given to the selection of the grapes during the harvest, which is carried out only when the harvest is full. In April 2016, the Maison de Champagne Jean Dumangin obtained the High Environmental Value certification. With a surface area of 8.5 hectares, the Maison Jean Dumangin subtly balances its blends, allowing the careful selection of wines from different plots to give a style to each cuvée. Extended aging helps to improve the wines by providing them with optimal maturity.
