Hubert Laferrère could easily be defined as a winemaker-philosopher and philanthropist, not by chance the first thing he emphasizes about his conduct in the vineyard is the total embrace of permaculture: he wants his land to be rich in life, flora and fauna by gradually moving the five hectares acquired from intensive agriculture, to very low planting densities, leaving space for other vegetative varieties that live in symbiosis in the vineyard.
He settled here in Lugny in 1986 with a clear objective: to listen to nature rather than dominate it in order to reap the best fruit.
The fermentations are natural with native yeasts, colored by the seasons and lunar cycles to obtain a frank, sincere and unartificial wine, shaped only by its terroir that it loves so much.
