In recent years, the Jura has acquired more and more interest for lovers of conventional and non-conventional wine: small productions, soils and geological conformations similar to nearby Burgundy but with its own, precise identity. Since 1989, Françoise Ratte and her husband Michel-Henri have followed an approach, in the vineyard and in the cellar, as little interventionist as possible to have the maximum expression of the terroir: in the early nineties they fully embraced biodynamics by certifying themselves as Bio and Demeter, convinced that this practice gives additional energy to the vigor of the vine.
