Domaine des Murmures - Emmanuel Lançon

Small, quiet, and radically artisanal, Domaine des Murmures is one of Jura's best-kept secrets. Founded in 2012 by Emmanuel Lançon, the domaine spans just 2 hectares cultivated in a strictly natural way, nestled among the marl and limestone hills of the region. The production philosophy is clear: absolute respect for the land, no chemical intervention, slow vinification with no shortcuts.

Emmanuel works the vineyards alone, with the help of a horse for heavier tasks and an almost obsessive care for every single plant. In the cellar, fermentations are spontaneous with indigenous yeasts, and no added sulfur is used, nor are there any filtrations or finings. His wines are produced in tiny quantities and reveal, with rare transparency, the deep, mineral soul of the Jura.

The Poulsard, perhaps the most emblematic wine of the cellar, is a light, lively red, made with very low yields and an almost contemplative approach. Alongside this, Lançon also produces Trousseau, Chardonnay, and Savagnin, always in ouillé style and always with a subtle stylistic signature: wines that do not shout, but murmur, hence the very name of the domaine.

Domaine des Murmures is beloved by collectors and natural wine enthusiasts worldwide. Its bottles are rare, often impossible to find, but when they arrive, they speak a unique language: that of time, earth, and silence.

A producer to discover and cherish for those who seek truth and beauty in wine.
