Agricolavinica was born in 2007 from an idea of sharing ideals, valorization of a territory and respect for nature of the owner and producer Rodolfo Gianserra and Giuseppe Tudino administrator of the company.
The aim is to develop an eco-sustainable organic farming project in a high hilly area of Molise; uncultivated and abandoned lands for decades, with an ancient and documented centuries-old winemaking vocation, are once again bearing fruit. The company name is the synthesis of the passion for agriculture and the acronym of the owner's three children in order of birth: Vittorio, Nicholas and Carola. All the hills of the Costa Bianca di Ripalimosani where Agricolavinica is located were home to farmers' vineyards in the past centuries until the advent of the world wars and the sad exodus that then characterized the Molise hinterland in the immediate post-war period. Along with the vines, the company cultivates olive groves, fruit and vegetables over a total area of 220 hectares. Over the last 10 years, despite the 100 hectares of forests already present on the company, the CO2 reserve has been further improved by continuing to plant woods, orchards and hazelnut groves for an additional 20 hectares. All the vineyards are now surrounded by an ecosystem that feeds biodiversity and eco-sustainability of the environment.
The agriculture is completely organic without any irrigation system (dry farming). This allows above all the root system of the vineyards to go deep in search of the water table and then bring all this richness of aromas and flavors into the grapes.
The company works with conservative cultivation techniques and only uses natural products.
