The Volnay 1er Cru Les Santenots from Domaine Pierre Morey is a pure Pinot Noir from a vineyard of just 0.35 hectares, entirely worked according to the biodynamic method. The soil is rich in clay and limestone and the average age of the plants is 35 years, the harvest is exclusively manual according to a strict selection of the bunches, after vinification it is refined on the fine lees in 228-liter oak vats for 12 months. It is a niche wine and despite the great demand, the annual production is limited to just 1000 bottles.

Profumo

Broad and intense bouquet dominated by red fruit (blueberries) and floral notes with a slight spicy aroma.
Gusto

Warm, soft, full-bodied, with present but velvety tannins, balanced between freshness and savoriness, refined, with a very long finish.
