Ribolla Gialla 2024 Ferlat
Ribolla Gialla is the iconic grape variety of Eastern Friuli — indigenous, ancient, unmistakable — and in Ferlat's interpretation, it becomes a white wine of almost geometric precision: 48 hours of skin maceration to extract structure and aromas without excess, spontaneous fermentation in steel with only indigenous yeasts, aging on fine lees until March. No force, no corrective intervention. The gravelly soil of the Isonzo gives Ribolla a sharp mineral vein and an almost pungent acidity that makes it gastronomic in any context. Moreno Ferlat and Federica Tabacchi vinify it as they do with the rest of their range: with the minimum necessary, trying to let the grape and the territory speak for themselves.
