Merlot - Veneto IGT 2022 La Biancara by Angiolino Maule
Merlot in purity from a strict selection of the best vineyards in two high-hill areas in Gambellara (Taibane and Le Coste). Spontaneous fermentation in open vats with 3/4 punch-downs per day and then gradually decreasing by hand as the fermentation progresses. After fermentation, which lasts about 15 days, it remains with the skins for another 4/5 days. Racking, pressing, and immediately after into old oak barrels where it remains for about 24 months.
