Lezèr Vigneti Delle Dolomiti IGT 2025 Foradori
In Trentino, Lezèr simply means light — and the name already tells you everything you need to know about this wine. It stems from a spirit of continuous experimentation: Elisabetta Foradori, who built the reputation of the Mezzolombardo winery by bringing Teroldego back from oblivion and converting the company to biodynamics in 2002, decided with this wine to show the most playful and immediate side of a grape variety that everyone knows in its structured and austere version. Each vintage is a blend of about ten different winemaking trials, made with short maceration in different containers — terracotta amphora, wooden barrels, concrete, steel — which are then combined to find the freshest and most direct profile possible. Spontaneous fermentation, four months of aging in concrete, no filtration. The result is a Teroldego to be drunk chilled, almost like a rosé with character: light-bodied, generous in fruit, drinkable without being trivial. The third meaning of the name — in addition to the lightness in the glass and in the body — is the bottle itself, produced with a low-grammage glass: less weight, less impact, same substance.
