Kani Toscana Sangiovese IGT 2023 Bakkanali
Kani is an unconventional Sangiovese, born on the slopes of Mount Amiata, in a small vineyard, a cru called "vigna dei cani" (dogs' vineyard), cultivated at an altitude of 600 meters. This wine combines the character of the Tuscan grape with a contemporary and free interpretation, based on experimentation and absolute respect for the raw material. The winemaking process involves whole cluster semi-carbonic fermentation, followed by about two weeks of maceration and manual pressing with the feet. Aging in wooden barrels and minimal use of sulfites allow the wine to express itself in a direct, lively, and authentic way. A self-assured wine that invites drinking without sacrificing personality. Designed for those who love natural wines and seek new interpretations of classic grape varieties.

On the palate, it reveals the true soul of Sangiovese, with decisive acidity, juicy dark fruit, and soft, enveloping tannins. The sip is dynamic, generous, never held back. |
