Domaine des Rouges Queues Chardonnay is made from two vineyards on calcareous-marl soil with a south-west exposure, one about 50 years old, the other smaller and younger, planted by the winery in 2000. 100% Chardonnay from direct pressing and aging in barriques, bottled with very little added sulfur and without filtration or fining. A typical Burgundy Chardonnay for its silkiness and roundness, excellent acidity and ripe fruit, almost buttery on the palate. An excellent white from a region known for its reds that is sure to age very well.
