Barolo Cannubi Muscatel DOCG 2019 Carlo Viglione
The Barolo Cannubi Muscatel by Carlo Viglione is a structured, refined, and elegant red wine, an authentic portrait of the most classic Langa. The name Muscatel has its roots in the history of the cru: in this part of Cannubi, in fact, Moscato was also present in ancient times, later disappearing but remaining alive in the toponymy as a memory of the place.
On the nose, it expresses violets, ripe fruit, and pepper, with a broad and seductive profile. On the palate, it is austere and profound, supported by good softness and tight tannins, which accompany a long, satisfying, and very balanced sip. A thoroughbred Barolo, capable of telling the story of the territory and its history, designed for long aging and destined to give its best after years in the cellar.

Profumo |
The nose immediately expresses all the classic austerity of great Barolo wines thanks to a floral and slightly fruity olfactory profile, with notes of dried violet, watermelon, and cherry. These are accompanied by a clear balsamic, ethereal, and very pleasant matrix, followed by light hints of leather and tobacco. |
Gusto |
On the palate, it is smooth and fresh, supported by a very fine tannic texture. Full, harmonious, and very long, it finishes with a note that echoes the olfactory sensations and invites another sip. |
Abbinamento |
Barolo seeks out sophisticated pairings. How can one not imagine it accompanying a dinner based on white truffle, tartare, and tagliolini? |
