It is a full-bodied, direct, and frank red, with a shorter finish compared to Nebbiolo, based on the honesty of the fruit rather than complex layers. The protagonist is the vibrant and juicy red fruit, which guides a full yet dynamic, distinctive, and uncompromising sip.
The most classic pairing remains Piedmontese mixed boiled meats, but its freshness also makes it perfect with rich and savory traditional dishes.
