Barbera D'Alba DOC 2023 Agnelli Viassone
Agnelli Viassone's Barbera d'Alba comes from two complementary vineyards between Grinzane Cavour and Diano d'Alba: one plot with a west-facing exposure, which provides complexity and structure, and another with a north-west-facing exposure, which contributes freshness and aromatic finesse. The vines were planted between 1977 and 2003 on calcareous marl soils.
A savory and vibrant Barbera, with a generous structure and a well-balanced acidity that ensures its momentum and drinkability. Ripe fruit, present but never intrusive tannins: a wine of authentic character, born from a territory and a young couple of winemakers who are not content with just doing the bare minimum.
